Keep Sharing Jesus

This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: "Keep Sharing Jesus."

John 1:10-12 (KJV)

"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."

One of the hardest things we experience as Christians is sharing Jesus with people we love and seeing them reject Him. It can be discouraging, especially when it is our own family or close friends.

But remember, Jesus experienced that first. He came into the very world He created, yet the world did not recognize Him. He came to His own people, and many refused to receive Him. If our Savior was rejected, we should not be surprised when His message is sometimes rejected today.

Yet that is not the end of the story. John tells us, "But as many as received him..." Those are wonderful words of hope. Every person who believes in Jesus is given the right to become a child of God. The gospel is still God's power to save, and hearts are still being changed by His grace.

So don't give up praying. Don't stop loving. Don't quit sharing Jesus. We are not responsible for how people respond, but we are called to faithfully point them to Christ. Leave the results in God's hands, knowing that He is still calling people to Himself.

Let's pray:

Father, thank You for sending Your Son into this world to save sinners like us. Help us not to become discouraged when others reject the message of Jesus. Fill us with Your love, patience, and courage to keep sharing the gospel. We pray for our family and friends who do not yet know Christ. Open their hearts to receive Him and bring them into Your family through faith in His name. In Jesus' name, amen.

Until next time, keep your eyes on Jesus.

That's it for this podcast. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
