Follow The Light Of The World
John 8:12 (BSB)“Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.’”
Each day is a gift from God! What a blessing it is to wake up and begin our day seeking the Lord Jesus in prayer. We can ask Him for guidance, help in our troubles, and strength to endure our trials.
There is something refreshing about walking and talking with Jesus. As we spend time with Him in prayer and read His Word, the Bible, our souls are refreshed and our faith is strengthened.
And when the day comes to an end, we can once again come before the Lord in prayer, thanking Him for His goodness and committing our concerns to Him.
Day in and day out, we can enjoy this sweet fellowship with Jesus. He is not just someone we turn to when trouble comes. He is our Savior, our Lord, and the Light who guides us through life.
So, fellow follower of Jesus, keep following the Light of the World. Walk with Him today, trust Him through your trials, and enjoy the blessing of fellowship with Him.
And if you do not know the forgiveness of God, come to Jesus Christ, turn from your sin, and trust in Him alone for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life (Mark 1:15; John 3:16; Acts 16:31).
