The Father Made Known
John 1:18 NIV
“No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.”
Walking daily with Jesus is a blessing because we not only enjoy His presence, but Jesus also reveals our Heavenly Father to us.
Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 11:27?
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
As we walk daily with Jesus, we see in Him the glory of the Father.
In John 14:9, Jesus said:
“Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”
And on top of that blessing, Jesus tells us that the love the Father has for Him may be in us—and that Jesus Himself will be in us!
John 17:26 says:
“I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
Today will be a day of discovery for us. Let us look to Jesus, feed on His teachings in the Bible, and allow Him to show us our merciful and loving Heavenly Father.
