Revived in the Jesus Way

This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Revived in the Jesus Way.

Let's listen to God's Word in the Psalms:

"Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way."
— Psalm 119:37 (NKJV)

Every single day, we face a constant battle for our attention. We are bombarded by endless notifications, the noise of the world, and shifting cultural opinions. It is so easy for us to let our hearts drift, getting caught up in what the Psalmist calls "worthless things"—empty distractions that cannot feed our souls, but only leave us feeling dry, anxious, and spiritually exhausted.

But we don't have to stay stuck in that spiritual fatigue. We can choose a different path today. We can pray this beautiful prayer of the Psalmist and ask God to revive us.

And for us, God's way has a name: Jesus.

If we want to experience true, lasting revival today, we must walk in the Jesus way. This means placing our faith in Jesus alone, choosing to follow Jesus alone, and committing to listen to His teachings alone. We don't need the latest spiritual trends, we simply need to return to the pure path our Savior laid out for us.

The moment we make the conscious decision to direct our attention to Jesus, we step into the freshness of His presence. It is right there, as we look to Him, that our tired hearts are made new. We find the peace, the strength, and the quiet joy we need to face whatever our busy routines bring.

Let's turn our eyes away from the worthless distractions of this world and look straight at Jesus today.

Let's pray: Lord Jesus, thank You that Your way is the path to true life and revival. Today, we choose to focus only on You. Revive our hearts in the freshness of Your presence as we place our faith, our trust, and our lives completely in Your hands. Amen.

Until next time, keep your eyes on Jesus.
