This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Kept by the Power of God.
Let's listen to God's Word in 1 Peter 1:5:
"...who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." — 1 Peter 1:5 (NKJV)
What a comforting promise this is for every believer. Our security doesn't rest on our ability to hold on to God—it rests on His power to hold on to us.
From the moment we place our faith in Jesus Christ, God keeps us. He watches over us through every trial, every temptation, and every season of life. We may stumble at times, but our Heavenly Father never abandons His children. His power is greater than our weakness, and His faithfulness never fails.
One day, our salvation will be fully revealed when Jesus returns. The God who has kept us on earth will also keep us forever in His presence. Not one of His children will be lost. What He has begun, He will surely bring to completion.
So whatever you're facing today, rest in this wonderful truth: you are kept by the power of God. Trust Him, walk with Him, and rejoice in the assurance that the One who saved you is the One who will safely bring you home.
