Higher Thoughts, Tender Love

This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Higher Thoughts, Tender Love.

"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
--- Isaiah 55:8 NLT

"How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!"
— Psalm 139:17-18 (NLT)

"For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate..."
— Psalm 103:11-13 (NLT)

In our limited human understanding, we often struggle to make sense of the unexpected twists, turns, and storms of life. Isaiah reminds us that God’s thoughts and ways are infinitely higher than ours. But we can take immense comfort today in knowing that His higher ways are not cold, distant, or indifferent.

His higher thoughts are actually filled with an intimate, relentless love for you!

In fact, the Psalmist marvels that God’s thoughts about us are so incredibly precious and vast that they outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore. And they are the thoughts of a tender Father.

When we place our daily faith in Jesus Christ, those higher ways of God are filled with care, concern, and help in times of need.

No matter what confusion or trial you face today, you don't have to figure it all out. You can simply rest in His higher ways, knowing His heart toward you is completely filled with fatherly tenderness, compassion, and peace.

That's it for this podcast. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
