This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: God's Precious Thoughts Toward Us.
Our Scripture is Psalm 139:17 (NKJV): "How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!"
Have you ever wondered what God is thinking about you? David reminds us that God's thoughts toward His children are precious and beyond counting. The Lord is not distant or indifferent. His heart is continually set on those who belong to Him.
Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God's plans are for our good, to give us a future and a hope. Even when we cannot understand His ways, we can trust His heart. Isaiah 55:8–9 reminds us that God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways higher than our ways. What we see as delay, He sees as perfect timing. What we see as loss, He is able to use for eternal good.
Most of all, we see God's loving thoughts fulfilled in Jesus Christ. He came to save us, keep us, and bring us safely home. The Savior who died for us now lives to intercede for us, and no circumstance can separate us from His loving care. Our security is not found in our ability to hold on to Him, but in His faithful power to hold on to us.
Today, rest in this wonderful truth: God's thoughts toward you are precious, His plans are wise, and Jesus is able to keep you every step of the way.
