Lamentations 3:22 (ESV)
"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;"
Have you ever stopped to think about how long God has loved His people? His love did not begin when you first trusted Christ. He set His love upon His redeemed before the foundation of the world. From your first breath until this very moment, His steadfast love has never failed you.
There have been days of joy and days of sorrow. There have been victories and failures. Yet through it all, the Lord has remained faithful. His mercies have met you every morning because His love never changes.
And the best is yet to come. The steadfast love that has carried you through this life will one day bring you safely into His presence, where you will enjoy the fullness of His love forever. From eternity past, throughout every day of your life, and into eternal glory, the love of God for His children never ceases.
Rest in that truth today. Whatever you are facing, your faithful Savior will never let you go.
