In Jesus You Are Loved

This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow him daily.

Jeremiah 31:3 gives such a beautiful promise: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”

For every true follower of Jesus, this is a deep comfort. God’s love is not temporary, shaky, or dependent on our performance. His love is everlasting. That means it did not begin when we first turned to Christ, and it will not end when we struggle, fail, or walk through hard seasons. His love was set on His people from eternity, and it remains steady because it flows from His own unchanging character.

And notice this too: “with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” We did not come to Jesus because we were wiser, better, or more spiritual than others. God, in His mercy, drew us to Himself. He pursued us before we ever sought Him. He opened our eyes to see the beauty of Christ, the One who lived perfectly, died for our sins, and rose again so that all who trust in Him would have life.

That means the Christian life begins in love, is sustained by love, and ends in love. Even when the road is difficult, the believer can say, “I am here because God has drawn me, and He will not let me go.” The love that chose us is the love that keeps us.

So today, if your heart feels weary, remember this: in Jesus, you are loved with an everlasting love. Not a fragile love. Not a passing love. An everlasting love. And the hands that drew you to Christ are strong enough to hold you there.

That's it for this podcast.Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
