This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: If You Turn Unto The Lord.
"For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him."
— 2 Chronicles 30:9 (KJV)
Have you ever felt like you’ve drifted too far from God? Perhaps a season of busyness, a quiet struggle, or a painful mistake has left you feeling distant. In those low moments, the enemy loves to whisper a terrible lie: “You’ve gone too far this time. God is angry, and He has turned His face away from you.”
But King Hezekiah’s message to a drifting nation reminds us of the true heart of our Heavenly Father. He is not waiting with anger; He is waiting with compassion.
For us today, that compassion has a name: Jesus.
If you have drifted, please know that Jesus has not forgotten you. In fact, He has been thinking of you. He has been patiently pursuing your heart, guiding you to this very moment so you can stop listening to the enemy's lies and return to Him.
Your past does not define you, your struggles do not disqualify you, and you are absolutely never beyond the grasp of Jesus Christ. The moment you turn back to Him in faith, you will find that His face is already shining on you with grace, mercy, and total forgiveness.
That's it for this podcast. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
