Come Back to the Well

This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Come Back to the Well.

"but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
— John 4:14 (NIV)

Have you drifted away from your walk with God? Perhaps a season of distraction, pain, or a quiet slide back into old habits has left you spiritually dry and exhausted. You remember the peace you once had, but now your soul feels like a parched desert.

In those low moments, the enemy of your soul loves to whisper a devastating lie: “You’ve gone too far. You can’t go back to God after what you've done.”

But Jesus says the exact opposite. He says, "Yes, you can."

If you have wandered, please know that Jesus has not turned His back on you. His promise remains completely unshakable: "I will never leave you nor forsake you." He didn't love you because you were perfect, and He doesn't stop loving you when you struggle.

Today, Jesus is calling you to stop wandering in the desert and simply come back to the well. You don't have to try to clean yourself up first; just bring your thirsty, tired heart directly to Him. He is ready to forgive you, restore you, and fill you anew with the living water of His Spirit.

Let's pray: Lord Jesus, thank You that You never leave me or forsake me. Forgive me for the times I have drifted away to search for satisfaction in dry wells. I reject the lies of the enemy today, and I come back to You. Fill my thirsty heart anew with Your living water, and guide my steps. Amen.

That's it for this podcast. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
