This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of today’s devotional thought is: "Today Jesus Is Saving The Lost."
Today, the mission of Jesus remains exactly as it was two thousand years ago. In Matthew 18:11, we are reminded: "For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost." This isn't just history; it is a present reality. Today is another special day appointed by God for every follower of Jesus to be involved in proclaiming the Good News: Jesus saves us from our sins. Luke 19:10 reinforces this heartbeat of the Gospel: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
Right now, in this very moment, God is seeking lost sinners. Consider the heart of the Father in Luke 15:4: "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?"
If you feel distant today, know that He is looking for you. And when He finds you, He doesn't just offer a temporary fix. Hebrews 7:25 tells us that He is able to save to the uttermost—He saves forever those who draw near to God through Him, because He lives forever to make intercession for them.
Fellow followers of Jesus, let us keep the Lord’s focus. Let our lives be a bridge to the lost, sharing the news that Jesus forgives and saves from the wrath to come.
And for those of you listening who do not yet know the forgiveness of the Lord: now is the time. Turn to Him. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
That’s all for today’s devotional. Follow Jesus Radio is here 24 hours a day to encourage your walk with Christ. Remember, Jesus loves you, and He is just a prayer away.
