Our scripture today begins in Matthew 19:26:
"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
The Limit of Human Effort
We often reach a point in our lives where we hit a wall. Whether it is a broken relationship, a persistent sin, or a mountain of circumstances, we look at the situation and rightly conclude: "This is impossible." In the context of this verse, Jesus was speaking about the impossibility of man saving himself. By our own strength, merit, or wealth, we cannot bridge the gap to God. But where human strength ends, divine power begins.

Nothing Is Too Hard
This isn't a new challenge for the Creator. In Genesis 18:14, we find Sarah laughing at the promise of a child in her old age. God responds with a question that echoes through the centuries: "Is any thing too hard for the LORD?" God is not bound by the laws of nature, the limitations of biology, or the ticking of a clock. He is the author of them all. When He speaks a word, He has the total capacity to bring it to pass, regardless of how "impossible" it looks to the human eye.
Is the Lord's Hand Shortened?
Sometimes, even the greatest leaders struggle with doubt. In Numbers 11:23, Moses was overwhelmed by the task of feeding a multitude in the wilderness. The Lord replied: "Is the LORD'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not."
To say God's hand is "waxed short" is to suggest His reach or His power has diminished. But God's power is never depleted. He doesn't grow tired, and His resources never run dry. If He has promised it, He is able to perform it.

Walking in Faith
"With God all things are possible" is not a magic formula to get everything we want; it is a foundation for our trust. It means that no matter how dark the valley or how high the mountain, we serve a God who is bigger than the problem. If you are facing an "impossible" situation today, stop looking at the size of the obstacle and start looking at the size of your God.
That's it for this podcast. Follow Jesus Radio is here 24 hours a day to encourage you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
