Christian - forgiven - grateful

Welcome to my blog. I’m Richard Templin Hancock, a believer who has found rest in the redeeming love of Jesus. Whether through the written word or my devotional podcasts, I’m here to share the hope found in the Gospel and to encourage you to live a life as a follower of Jesus Christ. I'm glad you're here—let's walk this path together.
I hope you find these blog posts helpful. May they be a source of encouragement to you as you navigate your own path. If you find something that is helpful, please consider sharing it with a friend who might need it too.

God is actively caring for you

Psalms 56:8
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Our Heavenly Father is aware of our every step and misstep throughout our lives, from birth until death. Nothing we do is a surprise to Him. Furthermore, He actively cares for us, protects us, and guides us.

Here are some other Bible verses that affirm God's intimate involvement in our life's journey:

Psalms 105:13-14
When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

Psalms 121:8
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

And here are two more on this theme:

Hebrews 11:8
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Hebrews 11:13
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Be encouraged. God has taken care of you so far. And He will continue till that day when He says "Well done good and faithful servant!"
