Christian - forgiven - grateful

Welcome. My name is Richard Templin Hancock and I’m here to encourage you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. I'm glad you're here—let's walk this path together.

God's Kindness And Peace

God's Kindness And Peace

Isaiah 54:10 "For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee."

I thought this would be a good opportunity for you and me to thank the Lord for this fantastic promise. God's kindness shall not depart from followers of Jesus.

What wonderful, great love! As Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:4-5: "But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),"

All this is according to God's mercy, as we read in Titus 3:5:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

And then there is God's peace for you and me: peace in knowing our Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for our awful sins, and He loved us enough to rise from the dead. He keeps on giving us His peace as we seek Him out today.

Philippians 4:6-7 says: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's not get discouraged today. Jesus is with us this moment. He will give us victory. And if you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ, now is the time. Talk to Him now in prayer and begin your path filled with God's kindness and goodness.
