This is Follow Jesus Radio, encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: Evening Prayer.
Scripture (Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the LORD, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as this day comes to a close, I rest in the assurance that You are sovereign over every detail of my life. Thank You that Your plans are always good, even when I cannot see the path ahead. Help me to trust Your perfect wisdom and to find peace in Your unfailing promises.
Forgive me for the times I have doubted or become anxious. Replace my fears with confidence in Your faithfulness, knowing that my hope is secure in You. As I lie down to sleep, quiet my heart, renew my strength, and prepare me to walk in obedience tomorrow.
May my confidence never rest in my circumstances but in Your unchanging character and Your gracious purposes. I entrust this night and the days ahead into Your loving hands.
