As He Has Loved You

This is Follow Jesus Radio encouraging you to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. The title of this devotional thought is: As He Has Loved You.

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you."
— John 15:12 (NIV)

We often talk about the call to love other people. But in this scripture, Jesus does something incredibly powerful. He doesn't just tell us to love; He gives us the exact pattern to follow. He says, "as I have loved you."

Think about that. Our love for others is meant to be a direct, daily reflection of His love for us. When we look at our relationships through this lens, it changes everything.

Think about how Jesus has forgiven you. When you have sinned , carried guilt, or drifted away, He has met you with instant grace and washed you clean. He calls you to show that same, complete forgiveness to those who have hurt or disappointed you.

How has Jesus loved you? He has loved you with an everlasting, patient, and unconditional love. He calls you to lay down your pride and love the people in your life exactly the same way.

How has Jesus helped you? He has reached down into your lowest moments, held your hand through the storms, and guided your steps. He invites you to look around today and help someone else who is weary or struggling.

And how has Jesus provided for you? He has met your daily needs, given you peace, and showered you with unexpected blessings. He calls you to open your hands and share what you have, providing for others with that same generous, Christ-like spirit.

Today, ask Jesus for His help. He is right here for you.

That's it for this podcast. Remember, Jesus loves you and is just a prayer away.
