Our Scripture reading today is from Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIRV)
“Forget the things that happened in the past. Do not keep on thinking about them. I am about to do something new. It is beginning to happen even now. Don’t you see it coming? I am going to make a way for you to go through the desert. I will make streams of water in the dry and empty land."
It is like that in our walk with God day by day. Each day has a new challenge and God has the answer. Do we need guidance? We are reminded in Isaiah 26:3-4: LORD, you will give perfect peace to those who commit themselves to be faithful to you. That’s because they trust in you. “Trust in the LORD forever. The LORD himself is the Rock. The LORD will keep us safe forever."
Praying and trusting helps us navigate each day's obstacles.
