Welcome to my radio show blog. My radio podcasts are broadcast on iHeartRADIO and 96.2 Christian Radio. I'm a 71 year old radio broadcaster who has found great peace in his old age having faith in Jesus Christ and being a follower of His.

I enjoy reading my Bible and doing podcasts on things I read about. I also program 96.2 Christian Radio. The goal is that we could all be encouraged to have faith in Jesus and remain faithful to Him. I'm glad you are here and I hope you find the blessing that comes in having faith in Jesus Christ and being a disciple of His.

Rich's Joke Of The Day:

Mrs. Jones is having her house painted, and her husband comes home from work and leans against the freshly painted wall. The next day, she says to the painter, "You wanna see where my husband put his hand last night? "He sighs and says, "Look, lady, I got a tough day's work ahead of me. Why don't you just make us a cup coffee?"

Rich's Crazy News Story Of The Day:
A financial Web site's analysis of beer prices at Major League Baseball games found the Detroit Tigers have the most expensive small draft beer in the league! The Street.com said the Tigers' Comerica Park charges $8.75 for a small draft beer, the highest price in the league! The Web site said the average price for a beer at an MLB game is $6.61. So the next time you are charged a few bucks for a beer at your local Missouri bar...don't complain!

The Wacky World of Crime With Officer Hancock's police blotter:

Gainesville, Florida police said a man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, hit and run and a felony count of leaving the scene of an accident involving injury after he struck another occupied vehicle and a few newspaper boxes and left the scene. Police found the man a few minutes later at a Walmart, where he told officers he did not realize he had hit the other vehicle and he pulled into the next stop because he had the "runs."

This is officer Hancock. Be careful. There are a lot of wackos out there!

Rich's thought to ponder:

Anyone who lives within their means...suffers from a lack of imagination.

Boring: Meet Dull. That's what happened when two small towns, one in the U.S. state of Oregon and the other in Scotland, decided to get together and become sister communities. The idea came from a Scottish tourist who traveled through the Oregon town of Boring this year. Boring has a population of 8,000. Dull has a population of 84 and possibly gets its name from a Gaelic word meaning meadow. Both towns plan to make special T-shirts.
